"My husband and I were celebrating our housewarming and had invited around 100 friends for a party at our home. We had been regular customers at Rose for some time and had always enjoyed the food tremendously. On many occasions we brought friends to Rose for dinner who would always enjoy and appreciate the excellent food. It was with this in mind that we approached Rose, asking them if they could provide food for our party.
They were extremely helpful, helping us to choose dishes and quantities. On the day of the party, they delivered the freshly prepared food to our home at the agreed time, which we then set out on electric hot-plates as a buffet for our guests, where they would be able to help themselves to a variety of dishes.
The party was a great success and we received a huge number of compliments from our guests on the choice of food. Lots of our friends were not familiar with Indian food and tried the food rather tentatively but practically without exception, all our guests complimented the cuisine, talking about how tasty the food was, how much they had enjoyed it and wanting to know where we had got it from.
Over the following weeks when we saw our friends and discussed the party, the conversation would inevitably turn to the food which had been on offer and how excellent it had been.
Based on our experience, my husband and I have no hesitation in recommending Rose to anyone wishing to serve tasty food at a function.
The food definitely contributed to the success of the party. The restaurant was easy to deal with, very helpful and reliable and the food they prepared for us was made to Rose's usual very high standards."

"Rose is a very special place for me".
Whenever I am in London, I make sure to pay a visit to Rose because it's that perfect little Vegetarian restaurant. I have plenty of relatives in the area that don't eat meat, so having a "safe zone" restaurant is exactly what we need. Rose is that place.
The plates are quite large, and everything on the menu is reasonably priced. Everything!
Rose is special to me, because outside of your typical Gujarati fare, you will be treated to the Indo-Chinese menu. For those of you who aren't in the know...Indo-Chinese is that genre of food that is often overlooked in the states. Think chinese sauces and spices with paneer, etc. It's quite tasty!
My go-to's at Rose: Paneer Biryani, and Vegetable Jalfrezi. The flavors and the aromas are a religious experience. Seriously
Also, the falooda and rabdi are some great choices to cap off your amazing meal.
I can't wait until the day I can visit again.
P.S. It's close to Kingsbury Hospital, and just east of the Kingsbury tube station."Dave N
"A long established, family run restaurant on Kingsbury High Street serving a diverse variety of Gujarati, Jain and Indo-Chinese food. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a full dinner, Rose Veg will please. Their Bombay chaat is a delicious tongue teaser and their extensive Indo-Chinese menu will be sure to please all those looking for something a little different. From their drinks menu, their super yummy chiku milk shake hits the spot and is a nice alternative to the standard sweet, salty or mango lassi. I've also had the ragra patties, aloo papri chaat and dahibhala chaat and they're all excellent and the best thing about all of them are the portion sizes. They're crazy huge and fit for a king! My absolute favourite things to order at this restaurant are their wide selection of paratas which you can have them make-to-measure by specifying what stuffing's you want added".
The staff are attentive and the service is fast and efficient. We frequent this restaurant often and each time we've been we've noticed couples, large families and mostly Indian clientele.
The 183 bus or Kingsbury station on the Jubilee Line will take you very close to this superb restaurant. Highly recommended and very affordable. Two people can easily have a full dinner or lunch for around £8 per head (including non-alcoholic drinks). Now that's what I call value for money!"Kaustav b
"Very tasty food, very affordable and very good sized portions - will visit this place often.
The menu options are baffling, the service was quick even when they were busy.
Best of all a pure vegetarian place!"Santk

"Lovely food. And the staff is always helpful and friendly. There are loads of different dishes to choose from. And you can even have most dishes "jain" or without onion/garlic, if you want.
Only one complaint I have: The noise level in the room gets very high if the room is more than half full. The reason must be that there are only "hard" surfaces in the room. No pictures or cloth hanging on the walls, which would dampen the noise."Odd H
"It was my first time staying in North London and I trusted my dear friend and host to guide me around to my food places. This place was a hit. The biggest concern? Ordering too much food! The prices are super reasonable and the portions are generous. If you are thinking you are ordering too much food, you are. Slow down. Enjoy it. And be pleasantly surprised at paying less for food than you are used to in ol' London-town."Stephen h
